Global Impact at a Glance

What is it?
A new initiative by BICWM to provide
training, resources and coaching for local
congregations to think “glocally” — locally
and globally — in shared mission.

How will it work?
Regional Global Impact Teams will form in
each conference offering support, training and
resources to congregations through
Congregational Teams.

Why is it needed?
Recognizing all that God accomplished
through congregational networks like the
Missions Prayer Fellowship, Global Impact is a
“rebirth” of this kind of grassroots movement.
We hope to re-establish strong relationships
and partnerships that increase our
effectiveness in reaching the world for Christ.

How does it effect me?
God has gifted you! Global Impact
encourages us to explore the many ways we
can share our gifts and partner across the
Church — at home and around the world.

Global Impact and YOU!
The Global Impact Team for your conference will be dedicated to partnering
with your congregation’s pastor, missions committee, and ultimately, you!

Here are four goals for Global Impact:
  • Enable personal transformation
  • Build global vision
  • Provide vital, tactile connections
  • Apply training in local context
